His international upbringing further strengthened his ability to connect with people from all walks of life, helping clients feel understood from the very beginning.

As both a financial advisor and entrepreneur, Ryan brings a perspective shaped by experience on both sides of the table. In addition to his advisory practice, he co-founded Canid Roots, Silicon Valley's first subscription-based raw dog food company. Building and growing a business gave him firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges entrepreneurs face, allowing him to better serve business owners seeking to align their personal and business financial goals.

Ryan joined New York Life as an agent in 2016. In 2021, he became a partner in New York Life's Silicon Valley General Office, where he recruited, coached, and mentored financial professionals. He served as President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Silicon Valley Chapter from 2023 through 2025. He is a founding partner of Hooz Wealth Strategies and Insurance Solutions, LLC. Ryan is an Investment Adviser Representative with Eagle Strategies LLC, and a Registered Representative with NYLife Securities LLC.

Outside the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends. He serves in his church's children's ministry and is passionate about advancing financial education and supporting organizations that strengthen local communities.
